After the main body of this report (Air Service Information Circular, Vol. 2, No. 150, Design and stress analysis of wings for P W-2, night pursuit type) had been submitted and approved it was decided to decrease the span of the U.S.A.-27 wings for the PW-1 to 29 feet, to make them identical in plan to the internally braced wings designed for the same airplane. This appendix embodies the results of an investigation to determine what changes would have to be made in strut locations and sizes of members due to the change in span.en_US
