dc.descriptionThe purpose of this investigation was to determine the effect the routing of wing beams has on the modulus of rupture and other strength properties. The data obtained from this investigation, owing to the relatively small number of specimens used, and to the fact that some variables were not entirely eliminated, are not as conclusive as might be desired. On the whole, routing improves the work to maximum load property of the poorer material. This should, however, be further investigated by making drop impact tests on matched routed and unrouted specimens.en_US
