dc.description.abstractThe Land-Grant Colleges of the Tennessee Valley States have been engaged upon the problems of agriculture for many years. ... The Tennessee Valley Authority was created by the Congress to engage upon many problems, including some of those in agriculture, in the seven Valley States and adjacent territory. ... The Land-Grant Colleges have made an appraisal of (a) the development and problems of the Colleges, (b) regional conditions and problems, (c) the relations of the Colleges with the Authority, including mutual advantages in Federal-State cooperation, and the cooperative programs which have been developed, and (d) the results which have been obtained through the cooperative activities in experimentation and extension.en_US
