Description
The horizontal tail surfaces and ailerons of the Cox-Heinkel airplane were static tested in order to determine whether these surfaces were up to the strength requirement and safe for flight. ... The horizontal control surfaces and the control mechanism supported the required proof load and functioned properly during the test. The elevator, stabilizer, and aileron, and their controls, are safe for flight.
