Anderson established a new station about on*-al file sciuthwest- of the* Auburn Post Office orn April 17 1I06 On April 131. 1947 thre station was moved to the home of Mrs,, Marths 141 Moore. This- location was abiout 1,.3 miiles west southoest of: the Post- Office. Mrs. Mc#re-.move-d on January Z., 1954"n to a location three mib109S Southwest of the Post-OF-Fice. The station' remained t'here until Janu~aryr 1971. The U.aS. Weather Bureau (now the National Weather IService) creA..te.d an Advisor'-' Aricultural Meteloroloist (4AM) Postion at Auburn in the fallI of 19631. Mr. Pauil Mott establ ished a. micrcometeorwolcwai cal weather station on the south erid of fhe Aeronomy Farim on September 11 1963. The Environmental Studies Ser-vice Center replaced the 4AM, Postian in July.1973. Durins 1981 the office was renamed the S*outheast Aricultural Weather Service Center.
