Colony,"Colony from which the data entry is from.  There are four total colonies, #1, #2, #3, #4. "
Date,"Calendar date upon which the data were obtained, in YYYY-MM-DD format.  All data were collected in 2017. "
ExpDay,Experimental day from which the data were obtained (1 Sept 2017 = ExpDay 1)
NumWorkers,Number of workers in the colony
NumDrones,Number of drones in the colony
AliveDead,Is the colony alive or dead (categorical response; a colony is alive for as long as there are workers and/or drones alive in the colony)
Adult_mites,Number of adult mites that were collected on the oiled board (i.e. adult mites that have dropped)
Juvenile_mites,Number of juvenile mites that were collected on the oiled board (i.e. juvenile mites that have dropped)
Total_mites,Total number of mites thtat were collected on the oiled board (i.e. adult mites + juvenile mites = total mites)
Worker_brood_cm2,"Area of worker brood in the colony, measured as cm2"
Drone_brood_cm2,"Area of drone brood in the colony, measured as cm2 (note that a colony can be dead but still have drone brood, for example, if it's capped, and presumably dead)"
Honey_Nectar_cm2,"Area of honey + nectar in the colony, measured as cm2.  This is a single number that combines both nectar (uncapped) and honey (capped) into one value. "
