Evolution of the Auburn University fisheries program: genius in the Kingdom of Serendip

Abstract

This book is a history of the Auburn Universities Fisheries Program. It also focuses on two individuals, H. S. Swingle and E. V. Smith, faculty members in the A.P.I. College of Agriculture and the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station, who were important in the founding of the Program.
