Description
The object of this test was to determine the torsional deflection of the Martin bomber fuselage. ... From the above data, it can be seen that the Martin bomber fuselage yielded the most in torsion to the 7 1/2 pounds per square foot eccentric (one side) tail load. Therefore this fuselage is the weakest of the three in regard to torsion.
